Sanctus Clypeus is the headquarters of the Knights of the Crimson Moon and the central hub for every Hunt. The ancient stronghold is also known as the Divine Shield and was once called Crimson Hall.
Hub Overview and Lore
The Knights share Sanctus Clypeus with the Lunitarian Church under an uneasy alliance. Between Hunts, Nephilim recover, manage Gear, strengthen the permanent arsenal, speak with residents, and plan the next assignment.
War Table and Loadout Station
Use the War Table to select the next Ward and Mission. Before a new Run, use the Loadout Station to equip available purified Weapons, Shields, Armor, Trinkets, and Consumables from your collection, then choose an unlocked Angel. Returning between Missions does not reopen the station.
Before a new Run, use the services you have unlocked: take a Bounty from level 3, review upgrades, buy supplies, choose your Loadout and Angel, then select the Mission.
If the station is still locked after a Mission, check the active-Run restriction before assuming the menu has failed.

Matchmaking and Co-op Hub
Sanctus Clypeus also acts as a matchmaking lobby. You can invite a friend, use Quick Match, or enter a Join Code. Co-op partners return to the same hub after a Mission and can use available progression services and speak with NPCs together. Their starting Loadouts remain locked until the Run ends, though field drops can still change their current equipment.

Services and Unlock Order
Permanent level rewards open the hub gradually. The current official level table confirms the Merchant and Blacksmith at level 2, Bounties at level 3, and Librarian Boons at level 4.
Offer slots, prices, item Quality, Boon pools, and other services continue to improve after these initial unlocks.
